Looking for a hitting partner (beginner-intermediate)
Hi guys, I just moved to the West Coast area and I’m struggling to find people to play with on weekday evenings. I checked out a few Telegram groups, but they are either way too pro for me or they play at like 11 AM when I’m at work.
Are there any active communities that aren't too "cliquey"? I’m just looking for some casual rallies and maybe some tips to fix my backhand without paying for a full private coach. Let me know where you guys usually hang out!

Welcome to the struggle of SG tennis! Seriously, trying to get a court is like winning the lottery lately. I usually play at Farrer Park, but even there it's getting crowded.
I actually had the same issue finding people who don't take it too seriously. Someone from my condo mentioned the play bet https://playbet.io/ sessions they run on weekends. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant at first because the name sounds more like a gambling thing or a betting site than a tennis group, and I thought it might be some high-stakes league.
But I went down last Saturday and it’s just a bunch of hobbyists. The organization is a bit messy (we started 15 mins late because someone forgot the balls), but the vibe is chill. It’s definitely not a pro setup, so if you're just looking for rallies and maybe a beer after, it works. Check their schedule, though it fills up fast.
